The fifth model that I got the opportunity to work with via Instagram was @vlad.uvarov.cg. This also helped me realize the world of possibilities available to me globally, through this new to me resource.
In the galleries for the images below you will see the originals in my sketchbooks, some process pieces (including a monoprint) as the image was being created, digital versions of some images, and artist trading cards for each photo reference I worked with.
Artist Trading Cards
@vlad.uvarov.cg – image one
This photo reference mixed media drawing from 2021 of @vlad.uvarov.cg is in my 98lb. mixed media 5.5 x 8.5 sketchbook. It is accompanied by two process pieces in the making of the image above and two digital versions. Those are followed by a second mixed media drawing with texture and collage from 2023 in the same sketchbook. Next is the 2024 artist trading card (ATC) in pastel and charcoal for the photo reference and two digital versions of the ATC from 2025.

This photo reference mixed media drawing of @vlad.uvarov.cg from 2021 is in my 98lb. mixed media 5.5 x 8.5 sketchbook . It is accompanied by a process piece blind contour drawing in drawing ink that was used to monoprint into my 98lb. mixed media 7 x 10 Volume Two sketchbook. The blind contour was wiped out in the monoprint process and was replaced with the pastel drawing above. The last image is the 2024 artist trading card in charcoal and pastel for the photo reference.
